Waseca Vet Clinic Doctors

Dr. Tom Metzdorff has practiced at the Waseca-Clarks Grove Veterinary Clinic since 1992. He attended the University of Minnesota and earned his undergraduate degree in Animal Science in 1987 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1992.
Dr. Metzdorff enjoys mixed practice, but focuses primarily on small animal medicine and surgery. He also has a special interest in ruminants (sheep & goats) and buffalo. His favorite part of the practice is helping clients maintain the health and well being of their pets.
He and his wife have two sons, Matt & Josh, 3 dogs and a small hobby farm with chickens and buffalo. Along with caring for animals, Tom enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth soccer and camping.

Dr. Scott Lang is a 1997 graduate of the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lang practiced in Marshall for three years before joining the Clarks Grove Waseca Veterinary Clinic in 2000. Dr. Lang enjoys the challenge of a mixed animal practice with a special interest in equine medicine. Outside work, Scott enjoys spending time with his family and flying.

Dr. Carey Prigge graduated from the University Of Minnesota College Of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. He practiced at Wabasha Veterinary Service in Wabasha, MN for 4 years where he enjoyed large animal practice. In 2001 he came to Waseca-Clarks Grove Veterinary Clinic and says “it’s been a privilege to serve the many wonderful people of this area through veterinary medicine.” Carey does most of the cattle work for the Waseca clinic, but also works on horses, dogs, sheep, goats, pigs, llamas and cats. Carey and his wife, Terri, have 4 children and enjoy a variety of animals on their rural hobby farm. Carey feels the Waseca & Clarks Grove clinics are blessed with a great staff of receptionists, office managers, technicians and fellow vets. He also appreciates the Waseca & Clarks Grove clinic facilities which allow a professional and comfortable working environment.
