Clarks Grove Vet Clinic Staff

Holly graduated from the University of Minnesota Technical College at Waseca in June of 1982 and joined the Clarks Grove Vet Clinic staff two days later. She has raised and shown Palomino Quarter Horses since junior high, enjoys helping her husband, Jim, on their farm, reading with a cat on her lap, and singing in the church choir.

Karla joined the Clarks Grove-Waseca Veterinary Clinic in 1983 and is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Waseca Veterinary Tech program. She enjoys the challenges of a mixed animal clinic. She and her husband, Larry, along with their daughter, Kelci, enjoy the outdoors, trail riding their horses and showing cattle. They also enjoy attending their daughter’s sporting events.

Megan has been with the Clarks Grove Veterinary Clinic since July of 1998. She enjoys the diversity of the job and that every day is a new adventure! Megan and her husband, Brian, have two daughters, Chelsea and Abby. Outside the clinic she is kept busy with her family, their cat, Callie, and two Jack Russell dogs, Chip and Charlie.

Pam grew up in Pennsylvania. She worked for an insurance company from 1975 – 1990. She went to work fulltime at a veterinary clinic in October, 1990. In 1995 she married her husband, Mark, and moved to Minnesota in July, 2000. Pam started working at the Clarks Grove Veterinary Clinic in November of 2001. She enjoys traveling and photography.

Beth is a 1975 graduate of Alden-Conger High School. She attended M.I.M. (Medical Institute of Minnesota) in the Veterinary Technician program ’75 – ’76 and did her internship in Glenwood City, Wisconsin. Her first technician job was at the Cannon Falls Veterinary Clinic in the spring of 1977. She then worked at the Oakhurst Hog Farm near Albert Lea in the fall of 1977. She then married her husband, Ron, in October of 1978, raising her family until returning back to work in 1990. She worked for South Central Veterinary Clinic – Alden Branch in 1990 and the Alden and Wells Branch in 1991 – 2001. She then started at the Clarks Grove Veterinary Clinic in 2002. Beth loves working with people, spending time with her family, enjoys gardening and pickling. She has 4 boys and 4 grandchildren and tries to enjoy every moment she has!

After graduating from high school in Connecticut, Lori Payne went to Texas where she graduated from Texas Lutheran College in 1980. She received a Masters Degree in Entomology from Texas Tech University in 1982. Following the raising of four children and numerous moves around the Midwest, she and her husband, Jacky, finally stayed for a while in Hartland, MN. Lori was a veterinary assistant at the Waseca Clinic and moved on to be a veterinary technician at the Clarks Grove Veterinary Clinic in 2006.

She has also been manager of the clinic’s boarding kennel since its inception in 2006. When Lori is not taking care of the animas at the vet clinic, she is taking care of the animals on her hobby farm.

Sharon has worked for the Clarks Grove Veterinary Clinic for over 35 years. She is amazed at all the changes throughout the years at the clinic and loves her ‘clinic life’ as well as the doctors and staff. She enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends! Her greatest joys are her kids and grandchildren, and her husband, Tony!

Emily graduated in the spring of 2010 from the Minnesota School of Business, Rochester, as a veterinary technician. She works at both the Clarks Grove and Waseca branch office locations. Outside work she spends time with her friends and loves playing softball. She currently has three cats.

Nancy has worked at the vet clinic, primarily after hours, since 2002. The doctors and staff appreciate her positive attitude and smiling face. Nancy and her husband, Carl, have two children and one granddaughter.
